Dear Family Members and Guardians,

We are updating you as to Covid situation at Tremont, as you know we have one staff member who has tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday October 9,2021. We Have tested staff and Residents twice 3 days apart and have had no further positive cases. We have discussed the situation with our assigned Massachusetts DPH epidemiologist and we will be testing staff members and residents per DPH guidelines this week. If we have no further positive case(s) we will no longer be in outbreak and will reopen to visits and communal dining and activities. Zoom visits will continue and are available for residents to communicate with friends and family members. Zoom visits can be scheduled with our recreational department. I will update on Monday October 25,2021, hopefully with good news.

Thank you for all your support that you have been giving us during these difficult times.

As you know by now, our staff and residents have completed two COVID-19 vaccination clinics, with the majority of our eligible staff and residents now having received at least one dose. If your loved one has yet to receive the vaccine and you would like them to please let us know so we may coordinate this. We will continue to encourage our staff members to consider taking the vaccine.

Remember we always offer visitations using our technology (iPads, tablets, calls, etc.) and when we can, window visits and outside visits.
